The yearly fan club tour,
【The Nocturne Party】 has ended without incident.

 

This time,
as we visited Rome, Italy,
at the start all the participants
looked quite excited.
However,
in all of that, in a number of places around the world
things are happening.

Actually, this time's tour destination,
I believe there were quite a few participants
who have also thought about the effects of terrorism on Italy.

In fact, there were many who came to Rome
and understood by feeling it for themselves with their skin.
Firstly was that the streets were more crowded than expected.

And,
the sense of caution
and the sense of fear with regards to terrorism
was barely there.
Instead, the whole city
felt more like they were fighting against terorrism
by creating an even more positive atmosphere.

But,
because that's something that only those who came will know,
until they've arrived,
I believe that there were many who felt uneasy.

More than anything, no one wants to cancel
an event that was meant to be enjoyed.

Of course,
I also had to option of cancelling
this time's Nocturne Party before the trip.

Is it really the right thing to do
to come to Rome...?

It's not that I didn't have thoughts like these at all.

Just that,
many my fans, the LOVERS,
said stuff like these during the shoot.

『Thank you very much
for not cancelling this time's event!
This is my motivation to work hard through the year』

More than anything, I was saved by these words.
It became a precious chance to re-affirm
the reason why we continue with this event year after year.

Because of this,
even for the Nocturne Party's LIVE
I was filled with more strength than usual.

"I want to respond to the wills and beliefs
of everyone gathered here",
maybe it was with those thoughts,
that although rehearsals lasted through multiple nights,
the members, too, desperately
wanted to return those feelings.

The sight of the staff holding onto the pillow he uses for napping,
and walking to the hotel in the morning
may usually come across as comical,
but to us,
it's become like an image without any sense of discomfort.

When it came to the actual thing,
the members who were probably at the brink of exhaustion,
gave it their all regardless of it.

Everyone came to have the same feelings.
In any case,
everyone held the significance of why they came
tightly in their hearts.
Rehearsals continued and ended
right before the actual performance.

As the Live began,
I believe everyone could feel
that the atmosphere was different than usual.

I can't put it into words well but,
there was an indescribable vibe there.
In terms of the energy,
it was definitely that it wasn't an aggressive attack,
but was warm and overflowing with love.

In the middle of the Live, one of the members said this.

『I figure I was able to affirm
the meaning of 【love】
to each and everyone... 』

I realised that what's lacking in this world,
is definitely this fundamental,
and universal thing.

To fill the world with even more love,
isn't that something that our world
needs more than anything?

The world is becoming more and more convenient.
However,
with the convenience we gained,
we've lost a lot of love.
Am I the only one who feels that way?

A song that was performed in the later half of the Live,
is precious to me.

I thought that I wouldn't sing it again but,
this time,
I chose to sing this song
because we came to Rome.

To that degree,
to me, this trip too
was a precious chance
to recall a variety of things.

It is rare
that tears don't flow while performing the song.
It's not that I'm being narcissistic.
I, myself, get surprised when tears naturally come spilling out.

To that degree,
this hall was overflowing with lots of love.

I want to give everyone my words of gratitude.
To all the LOVERS who took part,
to those in Japan who prayed for this trip to go well,
to the members, the staff, and all the parties involved.

And, more than anyone,
all the families of the participating LOVERS
who worriedly waited for their return from Rome.

It ended without incident.
Sorry for making you worry.
And,
we have set sail for a new voyage,
the LAST VISUALIVE.
It looks like we might make port a little ahead of time.
