On the 23rd, at the 「Shima Zenbu de Ookina-sai 9th Okinawa International Film Festival」held in Okinawa prefecture, singer GACKT-san appeared for the stage greeting of the movie 「Karanukan」(director Hamano Yasuhiro), that he stars in, which will be screened at the event. It has been 14 years since GACKT-san last starred in a movie, which was 「MOON CHILD」 (2003). With regards to the attraction of the beauty of Okinawa, his hometown, GACKT-san said「Since the past, I had the feelings of wanting to repay and contribute something to Okinawa so I accepted this time’s offer」, revealing the reason why he’s acting in the movie.
The movie is a story about an internationally renowned photographer (GACKT-san) meeting a beautiful girl in Okinawa, and for Kimura Suzuka-san, who won the audition at last year’s film festival, this is her first time acting in a movie. Kimura-san said 「Initially I was nervous but GACKT-san is very friendly」, and GACKT-san said with a smile 「My appearance is like this but I, surprisingly, don’t have any walls up. I think she gets along very well too」. During the stage greeting, comedian Kimura Yuichi-san, who also acts in this movie, made an appearance as well.
The Okinawa International Film Festival, which has been held since 2009, is an event that fuses movies, music, fashion, comedy, and other aspects of entertainment together, and this is the 9th time it is being held. The film festival event will be held in Naha, Ginowan, and Okinawa City and many more locations, making this the biggest ever with 20 locations in 12 municipalities in the prefecture. It will be held until the 23rd.

Yesterday I was really drunk,

The meeting continued all the way to after noon,

I realized the huge number of people after I reached Haneda Airport.
It's crowded with people even before the holidays begin.
Even from inside the plane what I could see are people from afar.
This time there will also be many friends coming over to Okinawa.
After safely reached Okinawa I went straight to the restaurant where we meet.
After meeting up with the friends who arrived first,
It was actually planned for a normal dinner,
However half way through everybody was like being freed...
It became a tequila party in the bar.
It was already 5am when I returned.
We emptied nearly 20 bottles of tequila...
I actually couldn't remember anything after the 10th bottle.
Well,
It's been a while since I'm so fired up and in the end everyone was dead drunk.
Then, with me being in this state,
I woke up at 9am and prepare for the Okinawa International Film Festival.
Having drank so much last night,
And still alive today...I think only I can do that.
At the venue,
I saw Yama-chan, the "sweetheart of the southern sea", whom I haven't see in a long time,
And Inoue-kun of Non Style.
Today,
I hope it will not be like yesterday,
I shall be good and just eat my dinner.

It's good that Takumi and Val are not around,
Or else they will surely be forced to drink...
