ItalianoXFLAG Studio’s New Game “Fight League”Press Conference Report. How did the opening game clash between GACKT-san and Taka & Toshi go?
On June 22, 2017, Mixi’s XFLAG Studio held a press conference for the new smartphone app 「Fight League」 (iOS/Android) in Tokyo, Japan.

Each fighter has an arrow, and if there is an enemy in the direction of the arrow, you can attack. If there’s an ally at the end of an arrow, that ally can attack too thus creating chains.
The fight League’s battle is based on a turn system in which two people in the first stage have on hand on the board. Although rules to place a fighter on the board are simple, it’s necessary to consider the direction of the arrow and the position of the enemy and the ally, and it needs a certain depth of reading.
At the end of the rules explanation, Kimura-shi asked to Kusui-shi, 「What do you think about your future work?」. Kusui-shi about the future’s perspective of the game, replied saying about the future「 I want to create a tournament where not only players, but the audience, and even those who don’t know the nature of this game at all, can enjoy.」.
At the end of the game introduction, 5 brands were introduced on the screen. A brand is a group of fighters used by a player and they can be combined together with the partner’s brand. You will be able to enjoy an even more strategy-based battle.

GACKT-san and Taka and Toshi showed a heated Fight League match in the opening
In the 2nd part of the event, the singer GACKT-san and the comedian duo Taka & Toshi appeared to open the game battle. Teams were composed on one side by GACKT-san and Hiromisu-san, who was randomly selected from 4,404 people who applied, on the other side by Taka and Toshi. Both teams talked about their enthusiasm for victory, but GACKT-san said he had been practicing all night every day for this day, and his motivation was enough

In the opening game, Hiromisu-san, who was firmly supported by GACKT-san, dominated the game since the beginning. Finally GACKT-san’s team, thanks a perfect cooperation with a chain, and with over half the board controlled by them, they defeated Taka & Toshi and won.
The match was staged with a projection mapping on the stage, making it look very glamorous.
GACKT Team, who won impressively, was presented with 1,000 Fight Money x 100 Fighters. The defeated Taka and Toshi team while reflecting that there weren’t enough indications, asked for a revenge
