ORICON.CO.JP: GACKT to Inagaki, Katori, Kusanagi 「I'll look forward to their new ventures」

On the 22nd, singer GACKT attended the press conference for the new smartphone application 『Fight League』. With regards to Inagaki Goro, Kusanagi Tsuyoshi, and Katori Shingo, the 3 former members of SMAP which disbanded last year end, having their contracts with Johnny & Associates end this year on September 8, he said 「Since they all have their own talents, I believe that they’re capable of doing a variety of things. I’ll look forward to their new ventures」.

Taka & Toshi, the comedian duo who also attended the event, appeared timid, saying 「Since we’re juniors…」, but then added 「We look forward to their continued success in future」. They then added a punchline, where Taka joked, 「Well, since there’s still a long life ahead, I think a lot of things can happen」, and Toshi interjected, 「Who the hell do you think you are!」.

GACKT, who has been playing the game all night long for a week because of the event, said, grinning, 「Instead of saying that I’m a perfectionist, it’s more like I’m addicted to it. I borrowed someone for practice and almost cleared all of it」. Even in romance, he seemed to be predisposed to unintentionally becoming infatuated, saying 「When I become infatuated with a lady or with love, I’ll end up like this (right away), so I have to be careful」, controlling himself.

Aside from the presentation, the Yoshida Brothers who perform Tsugaru-jamisen were in attendance as well. The game begins service from today, the 22nd, for six countries; Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Macau, and Canada.
