I slowly opened my eyes and relaxingly get off my bed today.
It’s good that I do not have any work or such today.

It’s been a while since I can get a day off in Japan.
I intent to fully enjoy my last day in Okinawa,
and also to celebrate this anniversary today,
I planned to go to the seaside.

18 years ago today,
it’s the day I came back as a solo artist after I left the band…
So it’s an anniversary,
for that day,
and from that day on until the start of my nationwide tour,
in that year I experienced all the horrible twists and turns.
Even until now I can remember it clearly.

But,
today, coming here was difficult.
Just like the ups and downs in my life.

Lying on the rocks,
I began to organize the memories that are coming back to me.

There’s good and bad in everybody,
but I’m not too interested in that now.
Being able to walk until today,
I’m sincerely grateful to the fans who followed and supported me all the way.

I’m really really grateful!

Even when I’m such an ignorant person,
you still believed in me,
I sincerely am thankful to you all who when I’m at my hardest,
you still kept on pushing me to walk on from behind me.

This me,
who is already 43 years old.
I can still do my best even more.
I want to go all out,
until I am at my limit.
