Yesterday I talked to my friends in Seoul into the night
then headed straight back to the hotel.
It takes about an hour by car to get from Seoul to Incheon.
Even as I dozed off in the car,
I somehow arrived at the hotel
and before I knew it, I welcomed the morning just as I was.
Today I’ll be taking an early morning flight too,
so I had to wake up quite early but
due to the effects of fasting, I woke up unusually quickly.
When I woke up around 6, I drew the curtains and looked out.
There’s quite a large garden before me and
it exuded a lonely atmosphere but
there were quite a number of people gathered there for some reason.

I wondered,
and looked carefully, but it actually looked like a filming location for a drama.
I heard that the drama filming schedule in Korea
is a lot more demanding than Japan’s.
It seems that there are even dramas that air twice a week,
and in that case, the filming schedule will definitely be demanding.
In the past,
a staff from the recording company recommended the drama
【Winter Sonata】 to me, and I’ve watched it but
there were passers-by waving in the most important scene,
and even though it’s supposed to be a sad scene,
you can see flashes of the gun mic appearing from the top,
and I’ll end up bursting with laughter even though that just spoils the atmosphere.
There were lots of such terrible scenes.
Even so,
I suppose the schedule was so demanding that
they couldn’t even redo the scenes.
Since there seems to be a lot of filming done onsite in the streets forcefully,
without them getting any permission, I suppose that’s something amazing in itself.
Nowadays
it seems like Korean dramas are being dubbed and broadcast all over the world.
The world doesn’t even look at Japan dramas.
As a result of supporting dramas,
movies, and music to support the country,
together with Korean’s entertainment,
Korea’s electronics, cosmetics, cars, and etc.
have shot up to become top-tier brands all over the world.
Despite Japan’s government having launched Cool Japan,
no one knows exactly what that is being used for.

After I did my training,
I took a shower then went down to the lobby.

It was unexpected but the ride to Incheon went pretty smoothly.

When I went into the airport, I was honestly surprised.
Incheon Airport is more well maintained that I expected,
and the flow of the energy is good too.
Although it doesn’t feel like it has the beauty that Europe’s airports have,
I’m surprised that such a wonderful airport is even in Asia.
This is something that I heard about after this but,
it seems like Incheon Airport is ranked quite high internationally.
Mm , it’s a wonderful thing.
As we took off, I watched a movie on my iPad.
Since my terrible experience the last time, I came fully prepared.
Since I didn’t bring a book this time,
I decided to watch around 3 movies.
By the time I realised it, in the blink of an eye, we were approaching KL.
When I looked out of my window, I saw islands in someplace.
It wasn’t the same scenery that I usually see, and I felt perplexed by it
Just where is that island located…
After awhile, I could see the familiar sight of the, let’s just call them rubber trees,
that surrounded the Malaysian airport.
Rubber trees were lined next to each other.
For some reason, this scenery brings me quite a sense of relief now.
When I first came here,
I was worried, thinking “Is it really gonna be alright in such a forested area!!!” but
I get turned off from a city that’s too developed.
Ignorance is a scary thing.
When I arrived in the airport, I got to the immigration counter
and found an unbelievably long queue there.
『Seriously…? Give me a break』
Normally,
I don’t arrive in the evening.
This being my first experience dealing with such a crowd, I was honestly impatient.
However,
I got through immigration more smoothly than I expected.
I got into the car, and then went to eat.
Mmmmmmm, feels like home after all〜〜!!
