Today, I felt unwell since morning.
Regardless, I did the training I was supposed to do.
I can really feel the weight of my body…
Maybe I’m feeling tired because my work is densely packed in Japan.
Oh well, these kinds of things do happen.
Meetings for programs started in the morning.
The meeting ended in around an hour but
I can’t focus at all.
I then headed straight to the hospital
and got a drip.
I felt a little better, then headed straight to Shizuoka.
This time, it’s for a surprise live at a junior high school.
Every year
I’ll do this for a school somewhere in Japan but
it’s a first for me to do it in such a condition.
Of course,
that becomes negligible when I start singing.
I release everything I can.
In the middle of this high speed, I took a break
and arrived in Shizuoka after around 2 hours.
The area has become completely dark
and the school was silent.
The doors opened and the principal and vice principal of the school,
along with the chairperson of the PTA came out to welcome us.
『Thank you for coming all the way here!』
As I felt the strong handshake from the principal who said that,
I could how strong his feelings were.
『We’ll be able to add much lustre for the graduates』
Right after we said our greetings,
the rehearsal started.
The gymnasium was colder than I expected.
Despite that, I could see the teachers
staying to watch the rehearsal throughout.
My usual music staff
did the setting up well for me.
They’ve become my reliable companions
who have been working with me for over 10 years.
They, too,
have done these surprise lives with me in various schools
year after year for these 11 years.
We properly soundchecked from not only the stage
but even various areas in the audience seats
to make sure that we will be able to convey our feelings well.
While doing the rehearsal,
I kept the image of everyone who would be listening to me there
in my mind as I let my voice out.
While imagining the kind of expressions they would make,
and the kind of atmosphere in which they will be listening to the song in,
I go around in each seat.
The hour-long rehearsal ended,
and I finished up my meeting with NicoNico Live.
Anyway, my body is heavy today.
I have to lie down and rest.
I think, by tomorrow,
I’ll be feling slightly better.
I have to properly add lustre for
the graduates and the teachers who are sending them off.
I’m looking forward to tomorrow.
