Sasaki Nozomi: Continuous NG during public dubbing　moved by GACKT’s follow Up

Model-actress Sasaki Nozomi-san and musician GACKT-san attended the public dubbing for the movie 「Kong: Skull Island」(directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts), in a studio in Tokyo. They will be providing the Japanese dubs for the movie. Sasaki-san, who is taking on the challenge of dubbing a Hollywood movie for the first time with this movie, kept getting NG’s due to her nerves. To that, GACKT-san murmured, 「Cute……」, relaxing the atmosphere of the venue, and softly gave her advice while gently following up. After the public dubbing successfully concluded, Sasaki-san was moved by GACKT-san’s support, saying 「His aura is so bright and sparkly, a friendly person」.

In the movie, an expedition team that infiltrated the mythical Skull Island encounters the island’s gigantic guardian Kong, along with other mysterious behemoths, and tries to escape the island. GACKT-san will be dubbing for Tom Hiddleston’s lead protagonist, the expedition team leader Conrad, while Sasaki-san will be dubbing for Brie Larson’s heroine, the photojournalist Weaver. The movie will be released on March 25.

This is the first time that the two of them are co-starring together. Sasaki-san revealed 「This is the first time I’m working with GACKT-san like this and, I wasn’t sure that he would talk to me but he’s been talking and kindly teaching me since the beginning, it makes me feel that he’s a friendly person」, and GACKT-san said with a smile 「I’m nice to cute people」.

With regards to the movie, GACKT-san sang praises about it, saying 「Honestly, I wasn’t really looking forward to it but, it was so interesting that by the end of it I was seated at the edge of my seat. I rarely say it like this but, it’s 20 times more interesting than 『Jurassic Park』!」, bringing laughter to the reporters.
