GACKT Official Blog update. Translation below:
Lots of staff were hastily moving around the lobby
preparing for a temporary shoot in the morning.
It’s to prepare for a test shoot for a new program that’s starting.
While having tea
I watch the staff from the corner of my eye
then headed to the training room at home.
On this day
Dante, who I became close with through a Softbank CM,
joined me and
I taught him a bunch of things.
When I was first introduced to him,
he said, I’m from Softbank…
and I confessed, I always thought you were a baseball player…
to which he burst out laughing.
The training
lasted around 4 hours for the first time in awhile but
it was pretty intense even though not many people were around,
and we were able to have an enjoyable training session.
After training,
I took a shower I headed for the pre-shoot.
After the rehearsal ended
I received explanations from my friends.
From start to end, I kept thinking about
which way of doing it will make it turn out most interestingly.
I still can’t say what the program is about but
I would like you to look forward to it.
After the shoot
I went for the first dinner gathering.
It s a gathering where I’ll get to meet friends I haven’t seen in a long time.
We were seated at an open-space counter
at the place and
being seated at such a counter for the first time in such a long while
made the experience feel fresh.
The food and conversation was enjoyable but
I had to go to the next location
where the dancers are gathered to celebrate a birthday so
I left that place.
Maybe it’s because I turned up
without telling the dancers, that they said
『Big bro, what the hell are you doing? In such a place!!』
joking and sounding as if I was unwelcome.
Since it’s been awhile since I met the dancers
as expected, we had fun catching up with funny stories
and in the end, we stayed there until 5 in the morning.
We didn’t care about the time at all so
when we went outside, there wasn’t a single person in the street.
Though it even feels somewhat lonely
finding Roppongi so devoid of people…
Fun times pass in the blink of an eye.
We have to be thankful for the precious moments that were spent together.
With the silly dancers.
They’re great guys.
