1967 movie Yokubou – Blowup, by Michelangelo Antonioni is the story of a young photographer set in London but, at that time I was already running as a freelance photographer in Tokyo and saw a lot interesting english photographer. Hamano Yasuhiro, currently working on Karanukan movie, asked advices about studio shooting and the proper movements of a photographer since the protagonist of the movie has somewhat the image of a young and mischevious Kanou Tenmei. The leading role will be played by GACKT. I’m looking forward to see his unique personality develop.
By the way, the theme song of the movie is sung by the talented singer Marlene.
Kato Tokiko’s song in Japanese.. I heard Marlene sing in japanese and is really overwhelming, and most of average japanese singer cannot compete with it. If you have the chance it would be good if you could give it a try, listen to it!!
