The「VISUALIVE」, which is a theme styled story that is a blend of music X film X performance, is one of his many projects that is critically acclaimed by professionals from all walks of life. On WOWOW, the footage of the Saitama Super Arena performance of his nationwide tour「GACKT WORLD TOUR 2016 LAST VISUALIVE 最期ノ月-LAST MOON-」, which ran from March to July, and the 3 works of the GACKT all-produced stage play series「Yoshitsune Hiden」, that ran between 2012 and 2015, and is linked to this tour, will be broadcast all in one go. GACKT’s 「VISUALIVE」. WOWOW will exclusively broadcast the Saitama Super Arena performance from this time’s concept tour!
The footage from Saitama Super Arena, the final performance venue of the nationwide tour 「GACKT WORLD TOUR 2016 LAST VISUALIVE Saigo no Tsuki -LAST MOON-」which was held in 30 locations with 42 performances from March to July of 2016, will be broadcast.
The concept live 「VISUALIVE」, which is a theme styled story which blends music, film, and performance in its expression, is the first in 7 years since 2009’s 「VISUALIVE」 performance. It features his original album 『LAST MOON』 which was released in April, and is linked with the story of the GACKT all-produced stage play 「Yoshitsune Hiden」 that ran between 2012 and 2015. The 4-part stage masterpiece will draw its audience into a world unlike any other. With an upcoming world tour in the works, witness the spectacular 「LAST VISUALIVE」.

GACKT / MOON SAGA -Yoshitsune Hiden-

The bewitching stage play with GACKT’s passionate performance in his second lead role of Minamoto no Yoshitsune. He is also the original screenplay writer and director, and co-stars with Taichi Saotome, Yamato Yuuga and more, along with CLAMP being involved in the costume concept design.
In 2012, this was the 2nd stage play where GACKT performed in the lead role. It was a tour de force that co-starred Taichi Saotome, Yamato Yuuga and others alongside GACKT himself, who worked on the original story, script, music, performance, and acted as the main character Minamoto no Yoshitsune. In addition,the collaboration with popular creative group CLAMP for the costume concept design further accentuated the gorgeousness of the bewitching story.
＜Story＞
In the late Heian period, the world was ruled by 「Mononofu」, who were born from the communion between humans and 「Mononoke」. The Mononofu possessed supernatural abilities, and Minamoto no Yoshitsune (GACKT) along with the Minamoto Clan were one of the factions. Yoshitsune, who was kind hearted and hated fighting, together with his cousin Minamoto no Yoshinaka (Maekawa Yasuyuki), his wife Tomoe Gozen (Yamato Yuuga), In (Saotome Taichi) the Mononoke which haunts Yoshitsune, and Musashibo Benkei (Furumoto Shinnosuke) the retainer with superhuman strength, lived happy lives in Kamakura.
However, one day, Yoshitsune’s half-brother, Minamoto no Yoritomo (Ohashi Gorou) who was the leader of the Minamoto Clan, ordered Yoshinaka head to the capital through the Hokuriku region so as to maintain influence against their nemesis, the Taira Clan. Tomoe and Benkei, Yoshinaka carried out one military exploit after another, but provisions eventually ran short. However, Yoritomo, who thought to sacrifice Yoshinaka, who was from a branch family, had no intention of sending support. And gradually, Yoshinaka began to distrust the Minamoto Clan, and due to a tragic event, his relationship with Yoshitsune, the muscle of the head family, began to suffer serious cracks.

GACKT / MOON SAGA -Yoshitsune Hiden- Chapter 2

The 2nd chapter of GACKT’s bewitching stage play with his passionate performance as Minamoto no Yoshitsene. He fully utilises stage and film to bring new sensations in his all-produce original work that depicts the struggle and betrayal in the name of love.
Chapter 2 of the 2014 GACKT all-produce stage play will be broadcast. It unfolds following the previous story, and enchants with an original story that centers on the main character Minamoto no Yoshitsune, performed by GACKT, and his friendship with his companions, along with their relationship with their enemy, the Taira Clan. By fully utilising projection mapping technology, beautiful scenes, wire-action, theatrical combat, and dance scenes with LED, this work packs even more highlights than the previous one.
＜Story＞

Among the 「Mononofu」who possess various powers which that heal, or reads minds and more, there is a 「Mononofu」Minamoto no Yoshitsune (GACKT), whose own power is sealed, but due to a certain event, that power was awakened, and the life of someone precious to him was taken by his own hands… Some time after that, Yoshitsune met a group of those from the Taira Clan, who are in conflict with the Minamoto Clan. By nature, the two clans would soon fight but, the sharp minded Taira no Tomomori (Kawasaki Mayo) and the beautiful yet powerful Taira no Noritsune (Yuumi Hiro), were frank with Yoshitsune and his friends, and they began to seek a path of “peace”. Meanwhile, Yoshitsune’s sister-in-law Houjou Masako (Suzuhana Nana) made a contract with the 「Mononoke」 En, and conspired to rule over everything. Then, Noritsune, whose mind was manipulated by En, suddenly launched an attack on Yoshitsune and his friends… Will Yoshitsune unleash his power? What will be the fates of the Minamoto and Taira Clans?

In 2014, the GACKT all-produce stage play 「GACKT / MOON SAGA -Yoshitsune Hiden- Chapter 2」 was held. The stage play, which garnered much attention and depicted historical figures in an original story with a dark fantasy perspective while blending music, film, and performance together, is being parodied by GACKT himself. The super premium stage that only ran for 1 day in 2 performances, will be broadcast. It’s a youthful group performance featuring the “yankees” from the 1990s!
＜Story＞
It is Japan in the 90s. Minamoto no Yoshitusne (GACKT) from Minamoto Clan School, had a one-to-one battle with his big brother, Minamoto Yoshinaka, who he adores, for some reason. As a result, Yoshitsune snapped and won, but his heart was depressed. Right after that, Yoshitsune was returning home from school, but ended up stepping into the territory of Taira Clan Technical High. There, he was entangled with Taira Technical’s strongest guy Taira no Noritsune (Yuumi Hiro) but, his senior Taira no Tomomori (Kawasaki Mayo) turned out to be a fan of the same idol that Yoshitsune liked, and by hitting it off with each other on this common topic, their friendship grew. Meanwhile, the “general” of Minamoto Clan School, Kajiwara Kagetoki (Kinoshita Seiji), found it unamusing, and plotted to breakup their friendship… Will Yoshitsune and Tomomori cut off ties with Noritsune? Please do enjoy this super parody that will make you laugh from start to end, and compare it with its original, 「GACKT / MOON SAGA -Yoshitsune Hiden- Chapter 2」.
