DWANGO.JP: GACKT Collaboration with Seven & I Holdings' Beaujolais Nouveau

From September 3 (Sat) onwards, Seven & I Holdings’ 7-11 Japan, Ito-Yokado, Sogo & Seibu outlets, will begin taking preorders for 2016’s 『Beaujolais Nouveau』.Every year, the highly anticipated Beaujolais Nouveau Day, also known as 「the once-a-year wine festival」, is held. This year, it will be held on November 17 (Thu).

This year, as part of Seven & I Holdings’ products, the two varieties, the 『Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau 2016』, produced by winemaker Georges Duboeuf, “the king of Beaujolais” himself, and the 『Charles Drapier Beaujolais Villages Nouveau 2016 Special Cuvée』, hand picked by world no. 1 sommelier Tasaki Shinya by travelling to France, will be brought in.

This year, for the first time, the 『Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau 2016』 will have GACKT, an artiste known for being such a big wine lover that he has his own wine cellar in his home, as part of its promotional activities. Customers who purchase this wine will receive a GACKT original postcard (3 types in total) as a gift. Please do look forward to a unique Nouveau flavour that can only be sampled this year.
