TRANSLATION Okmusic - GACKTxTokyo Philharmonic Orchestra report - December 27th 2014
On December 26th GACKT held a concert titled "An Evening of Classical Splendor" At the Tokyo Opera City Hall with the collaboration of the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra.
The concert was divided in two parts.
The first part was instrumental and, under the direction of Maestro Kurita, the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra started the evening the Yoshitsune Hiden sountrack. Followed by「Mizerable」, GACKT's solo debut song, and many other famous songs such as「暁月夜-DAY BREAKERS-」. It was a perfect program to celebrate the 15th year of his carreer.
In the second part GACKT performed five songs and among them there was 「LOVE LETTER」, soundtrack of a TV commercial where GACKT starred together with Ryoko Yonekura.
Last year GACKT organized the same event where tickets were sold out right after the opening of the sale in spite of the 25,000¥ price. Thanks to this success, GACKT was able to held this concert this year too and, before the final song, he expressed his tahnks to the audience and the orchestra:「I am really glad to be here and to be able to see all of you this year, and I hope to see you next year too in this concert.」after this he closed the evening with「12GATSU no LOVE SONG」in an immense applause.
On January the 8th at the Nakano Sun Plaza the「MOON SAGA extra「Yoshitsune Nekketsu Gakuen Monogatari 」～CHAPTER 2～」will be held. In summer 2015 he will finally start the biggest and most important project of GACKT's career:「LAST VISUALIVE」
