Despite I'm surprised by the quick response and the passion of GACKT fans.

Movie Karanukan Director's Diary
At the start of the movie, Taira Kozue's beautiful high-pitched voice reverbrates.
Finally, we have successfully completed recording with the owner of the voice I imagined. All at once I was drawn into the world of Okinawa's Teda (sun god).
Karanukan (river god) has descended on us.
Thank you Kozue-san. It was a success.

The additional Okinawa on-site filming for the movie Karanukan starring GACKT has been completed, and we're left with the shots of Tokyo's autumn to film. I would like to wrap up all the editing by mid December.
Its a work that I would like to complete by January or February.
The world premier will be during the Okinawa Film Festival in April, but we've been taken care of by many parties so I will be working hard to be able to have a special participants preview before that.

The glittering sea was not shot!
The business of the main crew in midsummer meant that the landscapes had to be left in the hands of others. I found that I didn't convey that my impression regarding water was not included.
I absolutely wanted the shining sea immersed in sunlight.
I want to depict Okinawa as Teada's land, a country of the sea that has live nurtured from the sun.

Absolutely on insistance
heroine Maumi walked on the white, white coral reef
and came to Okinawa for additional filming.
I was brought back to those days in summer.
While having Teada descend in a way that you can't help but exclaim "oh my God!" to
Kimura Suzuka gave us a great run.
