Q：Why did you take on the Orion Beer commercial in this situation, when GACKT lives overseas and it’s so difficult for you to come to Japan?
GACKT：As an Okinawan, I am proud to be the face of Orion Beer and to work with them.
As an Uchinanchu (Okinawan) myself, I was thinking about how I can raise the spirits of Okinawa and return the favor, and all in all, I definitely wanted to do this job.

Q：What did you think of the commercial shoot?
GACKT：It was refreshing to be able to perform with people who are related to Okinawa, and to be able to spend time and talk with people who are local and have a place they love.
People live because they have things that are important to them.
Even though my current place of residence is far from Okinawa, I have been able to clench my teeth and work hard because of my pride and soul as a Uchinanchu (Okinawan).
To be able to talk and drink beer with people who cherish their hometown in front of the ocean is a reward for me, a happy moment, a moment when I can breathe a sigh of relief.
It was a tough shoot, but I had a great time.
