There is an artist who creates “Cork Art Portraits” using scrap wine corks.

He made a portrait of me awhile back. I’m sure many of you know about it.

The scrap corks are sent from restaurants all over Japan are used as the material for his works, approximately 2400 corks are used for one portrait.

More than 100 restaurants that have supported his art are currently suffering from coronavirus. To thank them, he launched a project to release two new pieces of cork art with wine labels and to present them to restaurants for free.

I also wanna support his ideas.
