Responding to Sports Hochi and other news outlets’ interview questions, singer GACKT (46) spoke about his enthusiasm towards his 20th solo debut anniversary national tour, KHAOS (20 shows) which will run from next January 11 to February 29. The movie which he lead starred in, Tonde Saitama (Fly Me To The Saitama), had just won the Special Award at the Hochi Film Awards. He spoke about his thoughts of challenging something new, saying, “This tour will also be similar to the theme (of that movie). I thought, since it’s my 20th anniversary, I guess it’s forgivable for me to seriously perform an earnestly ludiculous liveshow.”

The theme of this tour is “GACKT’s money-wasting has begun”. GACKT has a strong image of being peerless, but regarding himself, he said seriously, “My personality is that of a comedian, to begin with. That’s why, when I do silly or uncool things, I’d quickly fall into it.” It would appear that he intends to expose all of that during this tour.

There were things that he couldn’t do at his 10th and 15th anniversary. ““When you’re young, you’d want to be as cool as possible. But things change when you grow older. He has one worry. “That those who are coming for the first time will think, ‘So this is what GACKT has been doing all this while’. That’s not true. This is a special just for this time.
