GACKT Official Blog update. Translation below:

I headed to Nagoya today.
I’m there to watch the Balue Hearts live held in Nagoya.
I ended up taking more time than I expected when moving from the hospital straight to Shinagawa Station.

My staff was waiting for me at the station but
just as I arrived, they quickly started walking towards me.

“It’s because we really don’t have time!!!”

I wonder why those words worked like magic,
making me walk even more slowly than before…

The inside of Shinagawa Station was so crowded,
and somehow I felt moved by the huge number of people.
I remembered my first time coming to Tokyo.

When I was walking from west to east in that Ikebukuro’s underground,
I got so pissed off by constantly getting bumped into by the passers-by that
I swore, “I’ll never go through this route again!”, that’s nostalgic.

Despite that Shinagawa was that packed,
the inside of the bullet train was empty.
Hmm, I wonder why… I got an uncomfortable feeling.

Immediately upon arriving i Nagoya, I headed straight to the dinner venue.
I was supposed to have dinner at a motsu nabe place called “Motsufuji” and
it seems that they privately opened up for us despite that this day was a scheduled rest day.

When such things are done for me, my heart gets a squeeze and feels painful.
It’s definitely not just taste that makes me head towards them whenever I come to Nagoya
In addition to their spirit making me feel happier than anything else,
the feelings of the staff who chose to purposely gather for us is the best spice of all.
Truly, thank you.

Speaking of the dinner,
the other day, I had a dinner gathering with Top from Japan’s MMA group RIZIN.

Just as I wondered what he was going to say in the middle of the gathering, he said

“Have you ever thought of really testing yourself in competition?
I think that if it’s GACKT, you can definitely do quite well!”

Umm, hey…
What are you trying to say??
That said, I’ll really break a ligament!!!

In the past,
when I was doing the super ring when I was training
staff from PRIDE even came to watch me…
After that,
I’ve received a similar offer from PRIDE but
just like that time, I said the same thing as I said this time.

“But you see… I’m a musician!!”

It’s also good that you’re being overestimated.
For me, it’s just that I have a lot of bloodlust
and you might even say it’s impudent of me to
get into the professional ring.
I’m just a musician who is barbaric and loses it easily…

Really, give me a break.
I’ll just be called an old man who tears his ligaments, seriously…
