I headed towards the airport…
After watching Camui♂Gakuen’s Hakata branch school Gakuen Fest in Fukuoka,
I met up with my friends and ate with them
and that was how I ended up spending my time until morning.
By the time I realised it, it was time to head to the airport.
Sleepiness was attacking me but it can’t be helped.
I left the hotel at 7.
I went to a cafe, had a coffee
and arrived at the airport.
I then headed straight to the gate leaving for Tokyo.
Maybe it’s because it’s an early morning flight.
The airport wasn’t crowded at all.
There’s a reason why I’m going back to Tokyo this early.
Of course,
I was able to relax a little in Fukuoka before going back but
I was invited by my friends to go cruising
and because this was the only day that I could fit into my schedule,
all of my friends adjusted to it for me.
I arrived at the harbour at 11.
I felt sleepy but the smell of the tide woke me up.
The other day,
『Will Kirisho be coming along?』
I asked, and
『Even if I have to force it, I’ll come!』
was the adorable reply that I got.
To play is something that you have to do
because you’re busy after all.
Playing when you’re free
and forcing yourself to play because you’re busy, both have different meanings and spirits behind it.
Kirisho was standing at the wharf awaiting my arrival.
The both of us then headed to the boat.
My other friends have already boarded the boat long ago, and are on standby.
Everyone of us are busy people.
And that’s exactly why this is meaningful.
We immediately got the boat running.

When we were in the vicinity of the bay bridge,
I stepped out and the wind felt good.
I spoke seriously about play with Kirisho.

We arrived near the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse.
Here, it’s meal time.
This time,
our meal will be served with the best by
Aoyama’s sushi restaurant 【すし秀 (Sushi Hide)】.
Because I wasn’t feeling too good,
I didn’t really drink any alcohol but
everyone got comfortably drunk
and in the end, they got too hyped up and most of them fell asleep.
My manager friends too, all of them were fast asleep.
We have to reset our hearts and minds like this, otherwise our spirits will be broken.
If your spirit is broken, your body will break too.
Give your all at work,
then in between, play with all your heart.
And then find time to reset your heart.
I have many friends who do nothing but work,
and end up with their spirits broken, becoming unable to work in the first place.
Play is,
to a child, considered as 【learning】, on the other hand,
for adults, I suppose it’s considered as 【guidance】.
Guidance to aim for even greater heights.
I think that people who can only recognise playing as an 【expenditure】
didn’t get the recognition of play wrong,
but instead got the meaning and understanding of what work is,
and the fundamental way to engage it wrong.
If you can only get your work halfway done,
or,
if you’re not giving your all at work,
you might not think that you need to reset your heart yet
or perhaps you don’t even feel the necessity for it.
The act of resetting your heart
is probably given meaning
after you’ve given your all at work and your heart has been filled up.

I suppose it’s not exactly profound knowledge though.
