Today,
I spent the morning by taking my time, drinking tea.
My partner came over in the afternoon
and we went around looking at properties together.
We have to find a new property for a new job but
this is more like a breather to me than anything else.
Not only can you memorise the city from touring properties,
there will be lots of discoveries too.
Actually, there have also been many times when I get inspired by encountering new designs.
There’s a mountain load of new encounters and unexpected discoveries.
I wonder since when was it that I started enjoying property viewing this much.
I’ll find the time to go around and look at the world’s properties.
Of course,
since each country has it’s own laws,
there are also occasions when it will be difficult for foreigners to purchase property but
even so,
after these 20 years’ of experience, I’ve affirmed that
going around looking at properties is the shortest method to getting to know a city,
and there’s a big reward in drawing out the answer
to resolving the problem points that may arise along the way.
As both a hobby and a profitable business, it’s something that I have yet to become tired of.
We went around and viewed a few wonderful properties but
in the end,
without any decisive factors appearing,
we only kept one property in the list, and the rest were removed.
It’s persistent work but I don’t feel any dislike for it at all.
We had our meal at an area called Bangsar,
and in that same mall, we found a cafe and I casually ordered a cappuccino.
The aroma of this cappuccino is exceptionally wonderful,
and I was surprised, for the first time in awhile,
by how unexpectedly good it was.
『So there’s a place with good coffee in such an area…』
It seems like
I can still discover a variety of shops.
Then,
I met an unbelievable squall on the way home,
and looking at the scenery outside my window, I burst out laughing.
The cars look like they’re plunging into the sea.
It looks like the cars that go into the sea in the 007 series.

I’ll be careful going home.
