　On the 23rd, the final day of 「Shima Zenbu de Ookina-sai　9th Okinawa International Movie Festival」 which was held in Okinawa, the red carpet event was held at Naha’s Kokusaidori, and many tourists gathered along the sides to welcome the celebrities with great cheers.

　A part of Kokusaidori, which was the venue for this event, was closed off, and in the morning, ahead of the event’s start at noon, many tourists were gathered there. They asked for handshakes, autographs and photos with Yoshimoto Kogyo’s comedians, actors from the movies that were screened at the movie festival, and the celebrities happily obliged.

　GACKT-san (43), who acted in 「Karanukan」, said this about the movie 「It’s a movie that is packed full of Okinawa’s beauty so I think that it would be great if people came to understand even a little of Okinawa’s merits」. In addition, he said 「Since I’ve always had the thought of wanting to contribute something to Okinawa, I’m happy to have been able to do so in this form」.
