GACKT Official Blog update. Translation below:
I woke up very well today.
Since I was feeling good, I took pictures
of my nude, freshly-woken up figure through the bedroom mirror.
As expected, I can’t take them well.
I tried a number of times but gave up halfway…
Angie kept looking at me,
as if rolling her eyes and thinking
『What the hell are you doing…』
I finished my training
and picked today’s outfit according to what I felt like.
Well, it’s not bad.
Today, I’m out looking for properties for work.
In other words, I’m going viewing.
I went around looking at a few new ones.
I couldn’t really find any that convinced me,
but that might be because of my discerning eye.
After my agent friend stopped his car in front of the garage,
the doors wouldn’t open even after instructions.
He started shouting loudly to the manager inside.
『He〜y, open up〜!』
Just then, the doors suddenly opened
and the doors began moving in the opposite direction than what he expected,
it brilliantly started opening up towards the direction of his car.
Hurriedly, he shouted again
『STOOOOOOOP! STOOOOOOOP!!』
while waving his hands.
Looking at it up close,
I only see a sight that would make anyone panic.
The doors stopped around 6cm away from hitting the car.
Seeing him panic was also pretty hilarious.
Well,
things like this are fun too.
This property is a pretty good one but
somehow the atmosphere doesn’t fit me.
Around 5 properties,
that’s what I went around looking at after leaving Little India
but I couldn’t find a good one.
I’ll look forward to tomorrow.
Just like that, I headed to the area of Bangsar South
to have tea while having a light meal.
It seems like all I’m having is salad today.
Even so,
the city of KL is really calm.
Maybe it’s because
the footage of me living here was broadcast on TV recently,
but these past few days,
my acquaintances have been contacting me and asking me the same question.
It isn’t Europe or America,
but why did I
choose this country or this city?
That answer is clear.
Climate, an English-speaking country, the good price balance, a mix of races,
the high quality of food.
Sometimes,
I keep being asked
why not Europe.
Overall, Europe’s
food tastes bad.
And more than anything else, the time differences.
For me, since I always work and communicate with Japan,
I can’t work in Europe.
If I’m going to go into full retirement and I don’t care about the food or climate,
then I suppose Europe is alright too.
For me, at present, I’m still working.
And without a doubt, I have meetings with Japan everyday.
Time difference is the most harmful thing for work.
And also, the distance from Japan.
The flight duration from this country to Japan
is shorter than from other countries.
And there’s an abundance of round-trip flights.
Aside from other countries being too far away,
they’re not suitable at all for me since I take frequent round-trips.
In future,
if I completely retire,
I might even stay in South America.
I’m exceptionally interested in Costa Rica and the like.
Once the world tour is done,
maybe I’ll make a trip around South America.
