ItalianoGACKT praised for his large chest muscles 「I’m a booby alien」
On the 5th, GACKT (43) attended the Cheering Screening Event for the Hollywood movie 「Kong: Skull Island」(Jordan Vogt-Roberts), in which he was involved in for the Japanese dubbing, held in Tokyo.
When MC Mafia Kajita praised his large chest muscles which he built up, GACKT said 「I’m a booby alien」 and grinned as he stretched his chest, which he proudly trains everyday. The audience cheered and went 「Hyu～!」.
Musician MIYAVI (35) acts in the movie as well but he apparently didn’t realise that it really was MIYAVI, as he revealed his mistake, saying 「I thought, “there’s an actor who looks exactly like MIYAVI~, so there are people who look exactly like you~”. At the end (during the ending credits), when I saw “MIYAVI” appear, I was like 『What, that really was MIYAVI!』」, and everyone laughed.
When he was asked what role he would like to play if he was to act in it, he confidently said 「If it’s me I’ll probably be King Kong. I think I’ll be able to act scenes of saving people well」.
The topic then turned to 「the most nerve-wracking event in your life」, and he revealed an episode when he visited Shizunai (now, Shinhidaka) in Hokkaido for a calendar shoot. When he was drinking in a bar of a quiet town, he was inundated by 500 townspeople who wanted to get a glimpse of him despite that it was 2 a.m. in the middle of the night. 「When one person hit my shoulder, 500 people came surging towards me. That’s the real life Walking Dead」 he said, revealing his experience of getting stuck while being surrounded by fans.
