GACKT Official Blog update. Translation below:
I arrived in Japan yesterday
and have been busy with work.
Yesterday, I did my training in the morning then quickly prepared to head out.
I put on a down jacket because it’ll be cold in the plane.
Recently, this down jacket has been the most comfortable.
I forgot where I bought it from though…
Since I arrived at the airport earlier than expected,
I headed to my usual place.
Right before I depart, I usually
head to the bar to get a drink.
Since I’m departing in the afternoon,
by the time I arrive in Japan, it’ll be pretty late.
In that case,
I’ll have a drink then skip dinner.
This has become my flow when I’m going back.
With his usual mood, the staff at the bar said
『It’s been awhile!』
and with a smile, he opened up my favorite gin.
I slowly spent my time there until it was almost time to depart
then slowly headed towards the gate.
I passed quite a number of foreigners in the airport but
for some reason, there were more 【bean sprout-ish caucasians】 than usual.
They’re tall but their shoulders are abnormally narrow
and the kinda look like aliens.
Even if their facial features are nice it’s a waste…
Matching his steps,
we headed in the same direction towards the gates.
There’s a familiar feeling when I look at the scenery outside my window.
Without sleeping in the plane,
I read a magazine I downloaded.
This time,
I read voraciously about every little detail about
different yakiniku specialties and ways to use the iPad.
I watched 2 movies, and maybe read only 10 pages of the book.
Before I knew it, I arrived in Haneda.
The moment the plane’s doors opened the extremely cold air flowed in.
『It’s still cold after all!!』
This doesn’t correspond with the information that I got but
this is normally what happens.
It can’t be helped.
I then headed straight to the hotel,
and had a drink at a bar while having a meeting
then went back to my room.
Then,
I’ve been chased by a raging schedule since this morning.
I have to make sure I don’t catch a cold while I’m in Japan.
In any case, the temperature difference between the afternoons and the nights is just too much.
It would be nice if I can go and see the cherry blossoms while I’m in Tokyo this time…
I wonder if I can go…
Mm, it’s tough.
