Today is the day my 48th single【Tsumi no Keisho −Original Sin−】gets released
I did my morning training
then immediately started preparing.
I’m going to take a domestic flight
and head towards Jeju for the first time.
It’s been awhile since I was last in Korea but
I’m honestly not that excited.
I wonder why.
Maybe it’s because all the buildings are just white.
Maybe it’s just my imagination that makes the city look cold.
As we were headed towards the airport,
we spoke about Japan and some other things.
Because today
is the release date for my 48th single 【Tsumi no Keisho ~ORIGINAL SIN~】,
I got contacted by a number of people.
This time, somehow,
my MV became a hot topic because it was extreme
and it got quite a number of views
on YouTube and other platforms…
In the first place, because the music programs on terrestial broadcasting
have to follow the broadcasting code,
I knew from the start that the MV won’t be streamed though.
Beyond what I expected,
even the online programs told me that they can’t broadcast it either so
『Well, since I got to make
what I wanted to make, it doesn’t really matter…』
was what I thought.
A lot of listeners in the world
say that they like it on their own volition because it’s up their alley
but even for that, each person has their own opinion so
even if there’s no need to go against it,
I suppose there’s no need to purposely affirm it either.
Each person has their own opinion.
Music doesn’t need anything like instructions.
That’s why it’s good.
There are a variety of people who analyse it too but
in the first place, musicians
are a breed of people who have darkness and distortions in their hearts.
For myself as well,
I’m just using music to somehow
come up with a reason for my existence.
Being able to come this far in this way,

has fans who have been supporting me,

and can’t get anyone to feel like that towards me,

In the past few days,
in addition to the release of the single,
there were the birthdays of TAKUMI,
my partner Ikeda, and Master Igu Igu.
It’s a joyous period.
We’ll do something in Jeju to celebrate for them.
