For today as well, I did my training in the morning
and then participated in a poker tournament in the afternoon but
both me and TAKUMI didn’t do well,
and in the end, lost halfway through with poor results.
Well, even if you can’t win every time

Feeling terrible,
we decided to walk along the beach at night.
Of course, the tasteful light-up

I suppose the reason why I feel particularly at peace
is because I’m near the sea after all.

In the past, when I visited Madagascar for filming,
half the staff got food poisoning
and ended up with fevers
because of how bad the environment was.
I myself too got rather ill
and lost 6kg of my body weight.
Even while I thought of it as a rather tough shoot,
in the middle of our stay there
we spent a few days in a villa in front of a beach.
The filming was, as usual, tough but
after we were done eating at night,
I remember feeling really healed just by
sitting in a chair outside the room and listening to the waves.

While listening to the waves and thinking of that,
we were immersed in sentimentality and TAKUMI suddenly shouted.

We tried taking a shot standing before the sea on the shore with our arms wide open.

Just like that, we went to the restaurant 【Le Roof】
for dinner.
Noisily gathering with a big group of friends at the table was enjoyable.
Honestly, this restaurant’s
flavours aren’t good enough but the environment is outstanding.
Partly because it’s built on the sea
and also because sharks are being fed in the middle of the main floor.
Halfway through eating, my friends throw in things like bread and whatnot.
Just the thought of falling into this is scary…
Dinner moved at a rather slow pace.
When it’s time for the main course,
each of us had our plates before us but
for some reason, TAKUMI’s plate is exceptionally small…
Could it be that only TAKUMI looked like a servant to them…
Just as I thought, “That’s just being rude to the Asian Poker Champion!”
I figured, well, that’s just the caliber of a person so that can’t be helped.
