GACKT Official Blog update. Translation below:
I slept for only 2 hours but
I feel well rested.
I woke up in the airport’s hotel.
First thing in the morning I took the plane and went straight back to KL.
This time I’m leaving from Narita.
It’s the weekend but it was overflowing
with more tourists than expected.
I checked in
then headed straight to the gate.
I normally
don’t take my time inside the airport
so I always head straight to the gate.
As always, the souvenir shops
and especially the electronic shops, are filled with tourists from China.
I just headed through the gate
and took a break in the plane.
This time, the take off is pretty rough.
Perhaps it’s because of the wind, that the plane shook more than I expected.
Perhaps it’s because I’m used to flying
that I’m not bothered by it at all.
The stewards will be bothered by this but
I don’t eat at all in planes.
It’s a GACKT rule.
I asked for a gin tonic
and worked in the plane while drinking a little.
I guess I can focus best like this
and work made progress.
The amount of manuscript and songs
that I wrote isn’t little.
In the blink of an eye, I arrived in KL.
Japanese media kept on reporting
about the assassination of Kim Jong-nam
and wrote it in a way that made it seem as if it’s hectic in KL
but actually, it didn’t feel that way at all in the airport.
It’s the same feeling as I got when I was heading towards Japan,
which was just one day after he got poisoned.
While waiting for my ride, I had tea in a cafe.
When I went outside, there were police there as usual but
without any particularly hectic atmosphere in the air
I said Hi to them and they smiled back.
Upon leaving the airport, I headed straight for dinner.
My KL partner looked at my appearance and asked
「Did you come straight from the airport?」
He looked at my exaggerated down jacket,
which didn’t fit the city’s atmosphere at all, and laughed.
While we talked about work, we had our dinner,
and after that was done, we stopped by a cafe.
As always, the city is bustling.
I love this atmosphere to no end.
It’s filled with energy.
I was told that the toilet was only available in the mall
and so I wandered around a mall devoid of people.
Although things are being displayed in the shops
it’s not unusual to simply pass through a mall like that here.
This means that public security is good.
For the first time in awhile,
I drove around Putrajaya, where government buildings are gathered.
As always, beautiful buildings are found lined up next to each other.
This place is perfect for a dating spot,
the atmosphere is really beautiful too.
Well,
though I think it’s out of place for two men to come here…
We’ll go enjoy our relaxing time in KL now.
