GACKT Official Blog update. Translation below:
When I arrived in Japan in the morning, I headed straight to the hospital.
It’s for a drip.
I was on drop for about an hour but
it was so cold that my body felt like it was going to freeze
yet for some reason I’m wearing a short-sleeved shirt.
I actually hate long sleeves
so I;m always wearing a T-shirt with a jacket.
I hate layering
so I wear a shirt with a jacket on purpose.
That’s why, it’s really cold.
Even so, I was told that today is actually warm
and when I looked at the sky, I was surprised by how beautiful it was.
Nevertheless, it’s cold.
Next, I moved on to a meeting.
After finishing 3 hours of continuous meetings,
I quickly did the morning training that I was unable to do.
My sleepiness wore off at once.
Just like that, I moved to the studio
and immediately started shooting.
This time, the shoot is to add on new photos to a book version of the Blomaga that I did awhile back.
This shoot dragged on until night.
When I looked at the pictures that were taken
I thought, I look older…
and once again was made aware of my own age.
Comparing with that version of me from the past
I’ve definitely gotten older.
But, growing older like this isn’t bad either.
The amount of things that I have to do grow with each year.
That’s what it’s like for training.
If I’m not careful with my body
it’ll become useless in the blink of an eye.
But, that’s basic.
My 40s are for the sake of being able to celebrate the best and coolest 50th birthday.
I have to do my best.
It would be great if I could release my stress at night with a dinner with everyone but…
While I’m in Japan
I’m very busy so that can’t be helped.
I’ll do what I have to do well.
