YO-SHIA!

The Japanese players around me gave me a thunderous applause!
I’m only able to have such a result because of everyone’s support!

Japanese friends who did not know about Texas Poker tournaments contacted me, saying “You really like this a lot”, I don’t think that’s right.
Of course, I do like it, but what I like even more is knockout competitions like these. Also, how hard this gets should not be belittled either.

It started at 1 p.m., and we played continuously for 8 hours, with a break in between of not more than 10 minutes. I didn’t get to eat anything, and held on to the end, furthermore I had to keep my brain running at full force. That’s why yesterday, it was the first time in awhile that I slept heavily.

Before I knew of such extreme brain sports, I paid no attention to it, but when I saw people who won numerous times in tournaments, it really was as if I say a “demon”. Luckily, their usual selves are very gentle and mellow, very different from being “demons”.

If Japan can produce world-class poker players too, and even turn it into a lifestyle, there will definitely be a day when we will be active in the world of professional poker players.

At present, the sport with the highest number of players in the world is poker. To me, it’s like a sport that begins from rehabilitation exercises, and it has now turned into a social event where I can mingle with other players. And also, what surprised me the most was that the Japanese who were playing this, were naturally becoming able to speak English, that’s really impressive! To be able to understand English through poker is also another skill from mixing around with poker players. Poker can really surprise people!
