I came here to bring justice, attack! GACKT commands his army!
The performance culminated in the Battle of Kawanakashima and the assault on the castle ruins (archaeological site) of Kasugayama by General Uesugi Kenshin, interpreted by General GACKT yesterday, 23th August. The festival was held in the city of Joetsu, which is the birthplace of General Uesugi Kenshin, hero of the Warring States Period (Sengoku Period).
This edizion ended also this year for GACKT, who has already played for 7 times the general Kenshin for 3 years in row. General Uesugi, riding his horse, marched with his army of 400 soldiers. “I came here to bring justice, attack!” , he commands to his men and people placed on the roadside raised a shout of encouragement ” At the castle! ”
Narumi Nakajima, a student of the first year of middle school in the prefecture of Ogata said: “I am glad to have witnessed this event up close!”
GACKT, on 22nd August, held a conference with the Mayor Hideyuki Murayama, and he has shown interest in participating in the next editions of the festival: “Since in this city there is the will to make this event even more realistic, I will continue to do it with you.”
